Ordered this pre-Black Friday as a Christmas present and it still has not arrived (Jan 3). It’s been in transit for 17 days, which I suppose can be blamed on the shipping company, but it took them 3 weeks to put it in a box to ship, which is on them in my opinion. I live in Canada, so technically international, but they could have sent it by horse and gotten it to me by now.
Obviously I don’t have the helmet yet, so can’t speak to this particular model, but my wife and I both had the original. My wife likes the signalling and the looks, so wanted another. I used mine a dozen or so times and went back to a traditional helmet. I find the helmet feels heavy and clunky by comparison. Also, pairing is a pain and always seems to not work when you’re in a rush and just need to get going. The signals are not recognized by most people - I’ve been flipped off and yelled at by other riders for “not signalling” when using the Lumos signals.
Overall I find the product gimmicky and wouldn’t recommend it.
